Beechen Reveals Membership Changes


UPDATE: Comics Continuum reports: "Beechen said there will be new members of Teen Titans. Speaking of the 50th issue, he said, "In addition to moving the story forward, it will be a celebration of everything that the Teen Titans have been.""

It was announced at Wonder Con 2007 that Adam Beechen, soon-to-be-Titans-writer, is now exclusive with DC.

The Pulse reports: On the DC Universe 2007: Great Expectations Panel were Dan Didio, Executive Editor, Bob Wayne, VP of Sales, Jann Jones, Coordinating Editor, Matt Idelson, Superman Editor, Judd Winick, writer of Green Arrow and the Outsiders, and Robin and upcoming writer for Teen Titans, Adam Beechen.

Didio began the panel by introducing Beechen as "the man who turned Cassandra Cain evil", which garnered a lot of boos from the audience.

In Titans news: "In the wake of the Titans East arc, there will be some new members to the team as well as some old members leaving," said Beechen. Some elements of the Amazon Attacks will spill into the Teen Titans book. Issue # 50 of Titans figures to be big, but Beechen wouldn't elaborate on this.

    Maybe Beechman will do another 360 and make Cassandra good again. Then she could be part of the new team.
    As for Supergirl, I'd like to see her on the new team, and also a search for the previous Supergirl, Linda Danvers, so that Kara can understand more about the mantle she carries.
    Beechman said there would be a new Titans East and Titans West. So maybe what will happen is one team will be the "older" Titans (Like Donna Troy and Nightwing) and the other team will be the newer ones (with the sidekick names).

    You mean 180. If Evil Batgirl did a 360 she'd still be Evil Batgirl.

    I want speedy to come back, i feel she didnt get a real run at being a titan before the IC. And they should leave the OYL titans alone as well as Jericho. Mind u, now that we know most of the Titans East are being manipulated onto the team, theres probably the base of a team right there; once you get rid of Match, Deathstroke, Riddlers Daughter (possibly Inertia, but they need a good speedster and i reckon he could d o a 180 as well)

    oh yeh?
    Sun Girls evil, so is alter boy.
    Even if they did the thing with Inertia, which is unlikely, the only possibility youve got is Batgirl.
