NOT pleased with that art announcement. Ugh. And what he did to Donna's costume should be punishable by death. That's just AWFUL. The idea of this series has excited me so much, but neither of the artists attached excites me and I refuse to see these characters get butchered by hack artists.
And where's Vic? Roy's not even supposed to be ON this team.
The color combination on Donna's costume in that picture is awful. Basic premise of color balance and complement. Don't screw with something just because you want to "make your mark."
I like Judd's writing, but nasty art might just keep me away.
OMG nightwingss hair is awful! it should be spiked lol, and starfire and donnas faces look the same! :@ i like starfires position though..very...uhhh......strong lol :P
Can I please stick up for Donna? I like the stars on the costume, gives her a more "Wonder Woman" feel.
As for Trigon, I feel safe saying that it's about time somebody brought him back. He was a great villain before, and I'm interested to see how all this is going to pan out.

Dammit, he got me. I'll give it a chance, even if one of my least favorite writers is doing it.

I thought Ian Churchill was doing the art for the Titans new ongoing.

Probably still is. That looks to be strictly cover art, which is just as often as not done by someone else other than the interior artist.

nope, Ian is only doing the first issue. He had to bow out of the series due to a shoulder injury. Benitez will be doing #2-on, for the time being...

I like the art overall but the red stars on Donna's outfit are not a nice touch.

I think the art looks fantastic, even Donna's costume.
"NOT pleased with that art announcement. Ugh. And what he did to Donna's costume should be punishable by death."
The man should be killed because he drew a costume on a fictional character that you didn't like?
Get over it. It's a fantastic costume which merges the classic Troia and Wonder Girl outfits.
"And where's Vic? Roy's not even supposed to be ON this team."
It's been well documented Roy will be on the team.
I think Winick will do a fantastic job. He seems to have a deep love for the characters. Give it a shot before damning the thing.

I'm SO happy to hear Joe's taking over for Churchill...I know people love his work, but I feel like Joe's has much more style and dynamism.
And I don't think Joe is to blame for Donna's new look...it's appeared elsewhere, before this cover.
