Levitz Releases Letter of Resignation, Announced As "Adventure" Writer

DC Comics' blog, The Source, has just posted the following public letter of resignation from DC Publisher Paul Levitz. The Source is also reporting that Levitz has been named the new writer for the recently launched "Adventure Comics" series.

You may have heard that Paul Levitz will be once again adding his considerable talent, drive and creativity to our ever expanding universe as a regular DC Comics writer.

So, what’s his first writing assignment?

Paul is returning to the title he made great as both a writer and editor, ADVENTURE COMICS, and with his eyes set to the future, he brings several of his favorite characters with him. ADVENTURE is the first in a number of projects, both ongoing and mini-series that Paul will be taking on as he joins of our list of top notch creators here at DC.

As Executive Editor, and as a fan, I can’t wait for him to get started.

-Dan DiDio

No word yet on how this effects Superboy's feature in ADVENTURE.

Why Adventure? Just when Superboy's team Johns and Manapul making noise and giving DC another possible bonified hit. DC pull the plug on those talents. If Paul Levitz want to returns to writing, let him play with someother titles that are on the down turns. Adventure comic had a great up turns with Johns and Manapul's talent. Dan Didio and DC's decision making are just to radical. Nothing make sense at all.
