Mal and Karen: Splitsville?
DC Universe: The Source has posted a preview to Doom Patrol #2:
Check out page 8, where Bumblebee says, "Marriage is overrated. [..] Things change. That's all. Look Father Rock... Mal 'n me, we made a good run at it. It just got to the point where the good times were being outweighed by the bad times. It happens."

It’s a black hole, but it’s not a black hole. If you’re a Doom Patrol fan, that made perfect sense. And even if not, then you’re in for one hell of a ride as the Doom Patrol face off against the most annoying alien this side of G’nort. Who’s G’nort? Do we have to spell it out for you? Oh, and the Metal Men in space.

I don't read Doom Patrol, and have no interest in them! Bring Karen and Mal back to the titans where they belong (assuming Titans actually gets better).

So let me see if I've got this straight... the ONLY successful Teen Titans marriage... is now over. Those guys have been married longer that Clark and Lois for goodness sakes! They've been together since the original series.
God... this is idiotic. They're not even popular characters. Can't THEY at least have a happy marriage? And where the hell is Mal?
This is B.S. Can we have a COUPLE of characters that isn't all angst and depressed all that time?
And on a side note: What the hell is up with Karen's eyes? She shrunk... got shrunk down during the Infinite Crisis. At what point did she turn into an actual insect?

Due to the events of Infinite Crisis and mostly due to the TT cartoon which showed her as the size of an actual bee.

Right, but neither the cartoon, nor any books after Infinite Crisis EVER portrayed her as having insect eyes. This is something new.
