Titans in JLA

A new ad from DC reveals the new JLA line-up... including Dick (Batman) Grayson, Troia, Starfire and Cyborg. The new team debuts in JUSTCE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #38. Check out the scan below.

With Beast Boy moving to TEEN TITANS, and Raven also featured in upcoming issues, as well as Wally (Flash) likely leaving.... that leaves only Red Arrow.

Previous TITANS news from San Diego: "Eric Wallace has joined the panel, talking about Titans. "We're going to have a new leader for the Titans, someone that you might be familiar with, by the name of Deathstroke: The Terminator," Wallace informs. Some brief talk about Teen Titans preceded the Titans dicsussion."

With all the members leaving, who does that leave Deathstroke to lead? And are those plans even still in effect?

So Vic, Donna, Dick, and Kory are all joining the JLA, and Gar and Raven are joining the Teen Titans. I think you're right in that Wally will probably be leaving, which leaves Roy as the odd man out. But judging by the solicit for Titans 19, I don't think he's going to be in any shape to go anywhere.

I guess this means I will be picking up JLA now. But if Deathstroke is going to be leading the Titans, I think I'm going to pass.

Why is Gar going back to the TEEN Titans?! Isn't that like...a step back for him? Going back to the teenagers? :S

Based on all the previews I've seen for Cry for Justice, I'm not excited for Robinson to take over. At all.

And honestly, Bagley's artwork is not doing it for me. His Spider-Man stuff was fine, but his DC stuff is tending to look...rushed or something. Just not focused or refined.

I'll give it three issues to win me over. I really hope it does.

Gar: Well, if the latest issue of Titans is any indication, he's going back to lead the Teen Titans. Seems Cassie isn't cutting it, and authorities are beginning to question the wisdom of allowing a teen superhero team with no adult supervision. So in that respect, no it isn't exactly a step back.

Not crazy about his art, but at least Kory looks drawn well for once. Maybe now they will be written in character and some respect given to them.

That is some REALLY bizarre perspective on the artwork...

OTOH, Cyborg's FINALLY in the JLA! Yay!

I'm glad Victor has made the JLA at looonnnggg last, but with so many Titans on the League, will be interesting now to see who Deathstroke leads in the post Blackest Night world!

I guess the Titans title will be Dark Reign Titans!

I used to love Bagley's art on SM wback in the mid-90's but like another poster said his stuff is no longer tight and focused.

I got the first issue of Cry for Justice b/c of Robinson and the art work; never had read his Starman so with all the hype he must be a good writer. . . But if having your characters scream I want justice is considered good writing then my 5 year old nephew should be writing comics.

I have to admit I am really confused with the Titans joining the JLA. Why not have Robinson just write the Titans comic instead. . . with Robinson's line up choice he has mostly the Titans a bunch of randoms and all of 2-3 original JLA'ers.

I'm actually really enjoying Cry for Justice at the moment. Yes, some of the writing is a bit corny, but that comes with the genre I guess. Titans just needed some good writing to pick itself up. I guess it's just a little bit too late.
