Brave And The Bold: "Sidekicks Assemble!"

The loglines have been revealed for the upcoming episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold ... and one will be of particular note to Teen Titans fans:

"Sidekicks Assemble!"Aqualad, Robin and Speedy have had it with being bossed around and demand a piece of the action, but they get more than they bargained for when they find themselves facing off against Ra's Al-Ghul and his flying island!

"Sidekicks Assemble" premieres Friday January 22nd on Cartoon Network.

Cartoon Network provided CBR with clips and pics from this week's new episode of "Batman: The Brave and the Bold," featuring the Aquaman, Green Arrow and the Teen Titans. Watch the video clips by clicking on the image here.

A recent episode of the Word Balloon podcast featured a conversation with producers of the Cartoon Network animated series Batman: The Brave And Bold: James Tucker and Michael Jelenic. There, they shared: "Among the storylines and characters coming up in either teaser scenes or full B&B stories include a multi part continuation of the Starro story which began in this season's Challengers Of The Unknown teaser, The Batman of Zur-en-arrh, a sidekicks vs.mentors storyline, Firestorm, The Haunted Tank, The Metal Men, The Spectre, The Phantom Stranger. I had a feeling that Donna Troy wouldn't appear in the series, particularly since Diana hasn't appeared first. Kid Flash not being there surprises me though, since we've had Jay Garrick there.

Am I to take it this isn't going to be the TEEN Titans, since Robin is clearly an adult in the series?

Well, Robin might still be a teen even tho he is out of high school in this series.

It doesn't surprise me that Kid Flash isn't there; The 2003 TEEN TITANS animated series had to get permission to use Kid Flash in their series, and only were able to get a couple of episodes. They didnt get permission for Donna/Wonder Girl, due to the Wonder Woman license (the movie was being developed at the time).

I miss the days pre-1989-BTAMAN-movie, when you could use all the DC characters in one place in outside media. Now, they are all licensed in different groups.

    permission....

Warner Brothers wholly owns both Cartoon Network, WB Animation, and DC comics. While I realize the media rights to the DCU are complex it shouldnt be freaking rocket science for them to manage their OWN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY!

Okay, I just saw the episode. I saw Flash & and Wonder Woman (although it was from the back on WW). So why couldn't we see Kid Flash and Wonder Girl?

I love teen titans, however I would like the Robin will disappear. I don't like his personage, he always make the same, nothing! I hate him.
