>> Risk will be getting "arms" and his story will be told in a Geoff Johns written title. "But we were originally going to call him the one armed bandit," Didio quipped.

>> The Titans ongoing series will be reminiscent of the NBC hit series, Friends. Red Arrow would gripe to his buddies about his JLA missions, for example.

>> Titans (the ongoing series by Winick & Churchill) is delayed until April due to Churchill suffering a shoulder injury.

>> A fan asked if Donna Troy would be going by the same codename in Titans. Didio didn't even know her codename is Troia. He said that Donna is like the "Jean Grey" of DC, and more fans seem to know her as "Donna Troy" - and that's what everyone refers to her as.

>> Red Arrow will remain on the JLA while in the Titans.

>> Superman Prime will be an ongoing villain in the DCU.

>> Bart Allen's story isn't finished.

Newsarama's Web Report brings more news:

"A number of fans expressed concern at how harshly Risk has been treated both in Infinite Crisis (where one arm was ripped off by Superboy-Prime) and in Tales of the Sinestro Corps: Superman-Prime (Where the Superboy-Prime all grown up tears off the other arm). While Risk’s arms may have been tossed away, the character has not. Didio said that his story isn’t over."

"Mark Waid will remain on Flash for at least six more issues."

"Don’t get too sentimental about his recent death. Bart Allen’s story is not over, according to Didio. And maybe we shouldn’t be overly bummed about Conner Kent. When asked if there were plans for Kon-El, the answer provided was a coy “Maybe.”"

Comics Continuum Report brings a few more tidbits:

>> Using Bart Allen's death an an example, DiDio was asked about deaths in comics losing their impact, DiDio said, "If we tell a story that doesn't make you care, we haven't done our jobs. DiDio said that Bart Allen's story isn't done. "I'll hold off on that conversation until that story is told," he said.

>> April is the launch date for the Titans series. "We called it Titans Friends originally," DiDio said, noting it will have a different tone, spotlighting the close-knit of being a super-hero.

In Saturday's DCU Panel, Comics Contimuum Reports:

>> Trying to clafify if Bart Allen was coming back, DiDio said, "Not true. Maybe!

>> Benitez said he just finished with Justice League of America #16 before joining the Titans series.

>> Eddy Barrows is the regular artist of Teen Titans, beginning with #56.

>> Talia will be playing a role in an upcoming Nightwing story.

Eddy Barrows Talks Teen Titans

Sean McKeever announced on ComicBloc that the Brazilian artist, Eddy Barrows, would be the new ongoing artist for TEEN TITANS. Tarcísio of Torre Titã (think Titans Tower: Brazil) contacted Eddy for an informative and entertaining interview. Here's a portion of the interview:

TT: I’d love to see you draw a crossover of Teen Titans and the Classic Titans.

EB: I’d LOVE to draw the classics characters.

TT: Tell us how was your history with the Titans. Were you a Titans fan before you became the artist?

EB: Wow… Good question! I LOVE the Wolfman/Pérez era. This era is so important to me. Everything in that era was amazing. That’s what I want to bring to TEEN TITANS - a little of that spirit - as an artist.

TT: Which character is your favorite?

EB: Well, I love the look of Cyborg. I also like Robin (Tim) in his new style, since its similar to Batman. His gloves are great. I like Superboy too. But Starfire is my favorite, in her classic style (Pérez) (laughs).

A Titan Leaves Forever

The Teen Titans solicit for #55 states: "As one Titan leaves forever, Wonder Girl and Robin explore their newfound feelings for each other as Ravager enjoys herself by pitting Blue Beetle against Kid Devil."

A Titan leaves forever? Is it Robin? Wonder Girl? Ravager? Kid Devil? Supergirl? Miss Martian?

Sean McKeever shed some light on this at ComicBloc: " It's pretty much all quiet this issue. (Sorry, action fans.)" and "When Dan [Didio] came on as editor, he and I had a nice talk about the current roster, and it was decided that it was time for one of the team to move on."

Sean also said this about #55: "One thing I can say is that, in a sense, I'm treating #55 like my #1. And, as I've mentioned before, we'll be seeing a focus on individual characters (without forgetting it's a team book) and we'll also be seeing a whole bunch of teen heroes (without it being overwhelming)."

I hope it's Supergirl that's leaving. And I only say that because she has her own series, and she won't get any major plot developments in the pages of TT when she has her own book going.

With an open slot now, maybe Zatara can join?
